Adam Mopick
Adam began his career in construction at age 17 as a laborer. After earning an undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Florida, he worked for the custom home builder Brookman-Fels. In 1996, at the age of 24, Adam formed AJM Development which later became the basis for teaming up with Ross Adickman to found Amicon Construction. Their vision was to create a company that combined superior construction techniques and advanced project management technologies with a team-oriented work ethic and unprecedented customer service.
Under Adam’s innovative leadership, Amicon has earned the confidence of a growing portfolio of prestigious local, national and international clients. Today, Amicon is consistently recognized as the market leader for premier general contracting services and construction management in South Florida. Adam’s dual roles as CEO and the Director of Amicon’s Construction Management (Owner Representation) division, provide him with a unique vantage point and a comprehensive view of the construction industry. This perspective, in part, fuels his vision for Amicon. A LEED-accredited, licensed State of Florida General Contractor, Adam’s client-driven approach and his commitment to professionalism, communication and precision define Amicon’s corporate culture.
In 2010, Adam and his wife, Helen, co-founded SeeFit, a fitness-based series of fundraising events that benefit the Vision for Tomorrow Foundation, an organization that underwrites ocular research and aids visually-impaired children and their families. A fitness enthusiast with a long history of competing in Ironman Triathlons and other endurance events, Adam is a certified CrossFit and CrossFit Kids instructor. Adam also enjoys low-impact outdoor sports, namely fly-fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Adam lives with his wife and their three sons in Miami Beach.
Ross Adickman
With almost four decades of professional experience in the South Florida construction and real estate industry –including the construction and development of some of the region’s most prestigious residential and commercial properties – Ross brings a wealth of innovative solutions and informed leadership to every project.
A state-licensed General Contractor, Ross co-founded Brookman-Fels in 1980. Brookman-Fels quickly became one of South Florida’s leading luxury custom home builders before it was acquired by a public company in 1996.
That same year, Ross founded Amicon with Adam Mopsick. Today, Ross manages all aspects of Amicon’s Communities and Developments division, including local property management and North Carolina properties. Ross is considered Amicon’s “Yoda,”and he is often approached by the entire staff regarding projects that contain complicated technical and financial details.
When not working, Ross enjoys traveling and exploring the art, music and architecture of various cultures. He and his wife, Ilene, live in Boca Raton.
